Button was found in Los Balcones, filthy and matted. She was a pending adoption but due to personal changes the adoptive family can't take her. She is a precious little Shih Tzu, 8 lbs and about 1 1/2 years old. She has "Big Dog" attitude, gets along with other dogs as long as she's the boss. She's also somewhat of an escape artist, moving quickly out of opportune open doors.

His left leg had been injured when he was younger but it doesn't stop him from keeping up with the others! Good with considerate children. Housebroken.

Borrego was left tied to the door of S.P.A. one morning They have no room so called Cuddle Bugs!!. He had masses of pegaropa on his feet and face, so those areas were shaved, resulting in his looking like a sheep. He is very quiet and loving. After spending a month in rehabilititation at Dr. Alma's she stayed with her finder for several months continuing with her recovery. He found that he couldn't keep her with his older dog. Found as a filthy unkempt mess, Marley is a Cockapoo, about 12 lbs and 1 1/2 years old. Marley was found to have a mass in his abdomen which affected his ability to urinate. Surgery revealed a bladder stone the size of a chicken egg! He is in a foster home and is ready for adoption! May need to be on a special diet.

But with a little good training she will be a perfect love.

Uno turned up at the end of a sterilization clinic with a heavy black mat over his right eye. We asked the doc to check and found that his eye was missing and the socket filled with pus. According to some of the neighbors at the clinic he was bitten by a big dog and his eye was severely damaged--4 months previous! How he survived is remarkable! How painful that must have been for him.
He is about 2 years old and under 10 lbs. Once his eye completely heals he will be able to function quite normally with only one eye.

Brought to Cuddle Bugs!! House by another rescuer, Goliath was removed from the streets of San Miguel. A maltie mix, very sweet and loving. He appears to have contracted a tick-borne problem, now under control. However, his health must be well maintained or symptoms of the disease may return.
